Serious question: How do Olivia types react when they encounter other skanks in the workplace? Is there a skank off? Or do they become friends because of shared interests?

I would bet my retirement account that these women do not have a ton of women friends. Olivia gives off big "not like other girls" energy.

These old men are so sad. Keith for thinking a college girl was dating him for anything other than money and getting ahead, Ryan for thinking he was different from Keith, Mark and Bobby for obvious reasons.

Btw it says a lot about Ryan that he was proud of Olivia for screaming at his ex-boss at an industry event. I got laid off over the summer and my boss and I did not have a great relationship (which is probably why I was included in the layoff lol). Like Ryan, I moved on pretty quickly to a better situation and I would be MORTIFIED if my significant other screamed at my ex-boss.

I have no dog in this fight but at least Lizza’s response is well written. Nuzzi’s prose is complete dogshit. She is a bonafide no talent industry plant.

She's an awful writer now. I agree with Keith Olbermann of all people that she used to be okay. I figured she was just young and would get better but she actually got worse. Main Character Syndrome really messed with her.

He is exaggerating her talent because the alternative is he’s just a pathetic old John who let a talentless prostitute move in and milk him for 4 years.

He's a pathetic old John regardless. It's not like her being a talented writer would be any better. He's still just a lecherous old man who got used.

They're not going to get rid of her. This is going to be a two or three month long soap opera that Vanity Fair will milk.

VF is hardly serious journalism anymore. Publishing an exclusive excerpt one of your editors' memoirs about her affair with a source has made that clear.

I never thought the RFK Jr. scandal would truly damage Olivia Nuzzi's career beyond repair.

But the Mark Sanford thing feels like a shift to me. Don't think she'll be fired right away, but she genuinely has become a laughingstock -- like even more so than before.

Not that I condone them, but people are making the crudest jokes about her on X, saying she may have effed Biden, and faking screenshots that claim she was sending photos of her b*tthole to RFK Jr.

If I worked for VF and considered myself a serious professional I’d resign unless she was sacked. This is beyond out of bounds.

Wasn’t she in the MAGA orbit and very tight with Kelly Anne Conway? So presumably she tried to seduce Trump and he rejected her advances? Otherwise this book would be about her affair with a President — not 300 pages of boring babble about sexting RFK.

I love how she flexed she typed the book out on her iPhone while hiking. Yeah sweetie, we can tell. It’s trite word vomit.

If Nuzzi managed to have an affair with Mike Pence I would laugh so hard

Oof, misogynistic men, regular men, and regular women have banded together in their hatred of Livvy.
