One of the court documents mentioned that there was no bed for Parker in the house, that she slept with her parents. If true, I find this extremely strange and also negligent on their part to not have a bed for the child. ( found document on Reddit)

Also very bizarre situation with his first child, now age 17. The article below says this first daughter is going to petition the court for custody of the 2 other girls when she turns 18.

The account of him leaving multiple of his babies in the car turned off repeatedly over the years, and how scared they were, and how often his wife told him to stop, before this death actually occurred, is one of the saddest things I have ever read. The death was 100% foreseeable. I'm not saying she should be charged, as her living kids need her now, but wow.

Former prosecutor here, just read through that entire police file. The statements from the mother and brother in law at the end were especially compelling as to the mental issues of the mother. I sure hope she gets some serious therapy to help her recover from the narcissistic abuse she’s endured in that marriage and to get her it of her stupid head and into focusing on parenting those remaining girls.

As to the murdering POS, probably the most decent thing he’s done in his life was ending it so his girls might have a chance at a decent life with a mother who isn’t still enmeshed with a narcissistic sociopath.

Prayers to them and hopefully they’ll spend a lot of time with their grandmother now.

The doctor's maiden name is Velazquez. Not sure what her upbringing was but maybe she saw being married even if the guy was a loser as a major goal, and maybe she didn't grow up upper class and thought having a man at home was better than not having a man at all. Hard to say.

According to the brother, the issues were very clear and both parents did a poor job of supervising the kids. In addition to drinking and driving frequently, Chris had not only left the kids in the car many times but had also left them home alone while he went out. The mother knew all this. It also says in the police documents that she had been working as an anesthetist for less than a year when this happened. This was a preventable accident. It was well known and discussed in the family that both parents left the kids to their own devices much of the time and that Chris drove drunk with the kids in the car, ignored the kids, left them in the car, and left them home alone.

I don’t think the wife / mom had been home much. She started her chief residency year in July 2022 and spent 2022/2023 working as the admin chief. So she had been in med school and residency while having her kids. A residency in anesthesia is a lot of hours, especially with the extra duties of being a chief resident.
