Unless people on here work at McPS, how are we supposed to know. Write Chris Cram the head of MCPS communications and ask him. |

It’s interesting we got MCAP so early this year but MAP is taking forever. By the time we get MAP it’ll be time for the next test.
FWIW, my kid’s teacher wrote the scores on a post it note the day they took the test (both the last score and the new one) |
| MCPS should be explaining why there’s a delay by now, given that there is clearly a delay. |
But the MCPS motto is always complain, never explain |
The communicate the testing windows 1.because it’s required, 2.because some kids have test anxiety so teachers and families prepare, 3.to encourage attendance so they don’t have to keep having makeup’s days or pulling individual kids to take or finish the tests. |
CO busy with the regional programs fiasco? |
| SOOOO report cards are up but still no MAP?! |
There's an office of testing under Shared Accountability that has little to do with planning for regional programs. |
MCAP results were provided four months after they were taken. They were hardly early--given that the districts are given the MCAP results by the state over the summer (just for the first time MCPS parents got the test results in a timeframe similar to Howard County etc.) |
| Wow.. still nothing. Wonder what’s going on? |

We had open house today at my kid's school and parents were asking. Teacher didn't know when MCPS would post them on ParentVue.

| It's too bad this is so late. We're in the season of parent-teacher conferences, and parents shouldn't be using the 10 minutes or whatever that they get with the teacher to ask where the MAP scores are. |
| Any sign of the scores - agree these are useful for teacher conferences! |
