They said on the afternoon webinar the MSMC is going away and your kid will go to the HS per their address and can apply to regional schools that way-so either Region 1 or 3 for us depending on boundary study ….

They definitely said MSMC (middle school consortium) and weren't talking about the DCC (high school consortium)? I thought the calls were just about high school at this point, I would be surprised if they're making announcements about the middle schools on a call like this before presenting it to the Board....

That PP troll is making things up. The only thing MCPS said about MSMC in the noon Q and A is that MCPS has no information to provide about it right now. I believe both sessions yesterday recorded so you should go to the primary source (MCPS’s program analysis site) to hear this information for yourself. That troll is sowing disinformation.

MCPS documentation shows current 5th graders NOT grandfathered in. This is why I spent the summer emailing the board.

Last night at the DCC meeting at Kennedy for all 3 MS magnets, the Argyle principal claimed MCPS isn’t changing ANY MS boundaries, just HS boundaries. The incompetence and misinformation is rampant in this county.
