Why are they such a secret? They’re from a PUBLIC union (from your rockstar GG). |
“But anyone who has been around long enough knows any serious rulemaking requires people working many more hours than 40 per week. Good luck with that, Chairman.” Why do you think they want rulemaking? They want de-regulate. |
Let's think about that for a second...the agency saying things that minimize Trump's threats of mass layoffs becoming public. |
In order to rescind rules (aka deregulate), you have to do another rulemaking. |
Rulemaking to rescind rules is simpler work and does not need working many more hours. |
| Will the Reorg impact the offices or industry offices for Corp Fin or IM Disclosure Ops? |
| So if we shut down we're not getting paid huh? That's my feeling despite the legislation that requires it. |
you get RIFed you're not getting paid either, if you make over $250k |
. They aren’t public unions. They are unions who represent public sector employees. Big difference. |
250k all in? 250k base? |
Lol, no. |
if the rate of pay used in retirement calculations (basic pay= base pay + locality) is in excess of the official rate of pay for EX level I, you are not eligible for severance. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/pay-administration/fact-sheets/severance-pay/ |
NP, it's embarrassing. Other agencies have the same internal stuff happening (often worse) but you don't see their business in the press and you don't see 3 different threads on DCUM every time something happens. |
Maybe less work, but still work. Now you also have to legitimately consider the comment responses, which are always numerous, and make up something to show you legitimately thought about it. |
And also, the email from the union was not really informative as to whether we will be subject to RIF or not, PA hadn’t even read the OMB memo. It was likely just to address what I am sure were numerous questions from members given news reports. All it basically said was that there is no reason to get worked up, so far we have no info about anything different. So why is that even newsworthy? |
