“Amy Bradley is Missing” Netflix

They did keep track when you came back on the boat, but not when you were leaving the boat. I also believe she was trafficked out by using a big container and taking employee entrances. She may have been aware she was leaving the boat as she wanted to score drugs and didn’t think she’d been enslaved.

But this just doesn’t add up if you believe the timeline her family provided about her being on her cabin balcony…where her shoes were found.

Everyone would have woken up if she walked through the cabin and opened and closed the heavy metal door. There’s no way to do that without making noise that awakens everyone. Trust me.

And nobody is leaving their cabin without shoes.

Her family should know whether she left the cabin. They would have heard the door open and shut. There’s no way to do it quietly.

Why did that company hire a videographer to make a highlight reel? lol I guess we did that back in the 90s but just seems so weird and he had a ton of footage for a “highlight.” The most genuine person in that entire series is the gentleman at guest services who initially helped the family when they asked to make a ship announcement. He seemed very caring and understanding unlike the douche cruise direcror.

If you tend to fall for conspiracy theories, you'll love this series.

It was pretty obvious to me from the beginning that by far and away the most likely explanation is that she was intoxicated and fell overboard and I saw nothing in the series to lead me to think otherwise.

Based on the father’s account, the first time he woke up at 5:30, the veranda door was closed. When he woke again at 6AM the door was open 12-14 inches. So it is possible that the commotion of her crossing the room from the balcony and exiting the cabin triggered him to wake up. I can’t get past the shoes though.

But wasn’t her brother with her and presumably he opened the balcony door and left it open for her to come inside?

I still think everyone in the cabin (presumably dad, mom, and brother) would have noticed and remembered if someone had opened the heavy metal cabin door to the hallway—especially if it happened between 5:30 and 6am when nobody would have been in a deep sleep. If the balcony was open, then the sunlight would have been blazing into the room. I find it hard to believe anyone could have slept through any of it.

My husband is quiet as a mouse when he leaves the cabin to go for a morning run, but it always wakes me up.

There’s no chance a drunk person could navigate the room and exit unnoticed. She would have bumped into the parents’ bed (there’s hardly any walking room) and definitely would have made noise opening and closing the metal door.

I’ve been following this case for awhile. The shoe question is easily explained as her mother mentioned in the past that Amy had multiple pairs of shoes with her on the cruise. Could easily have slipped into a different pair on her way out the door.

Google what a cabin looks like on that ship. Hint: they are tiny. There is barely any room to walk around. There is a small closet with wood doors. They make noise when you open and close them. Your luggage (and they had luggage for 4) is kept underneath the bed where the parents were sleeping.

I don’t think anyone could have slept through her walking around, looking for shoes, and opening/closing the metal door.

I was very surprised that the local authorities were so confident that had she gone overboard, at least some part of her body would have washed ashore.

I personally thought it was odd how the family thought she was so attractive. Like how they kept saying how much attention she got from staff. She was average at best. I hate to be that person, but they are delusional.

This.

Really gorgeous sex workers are not kept in low rent brothels in the Caribbean.

And she was a bit old at 23 for kidnapping for that purpose. They usually target teen girls. She didn’t even look young for her age.

I think it was likely that she did get off the ship to score drugs and incurred a drug debt that she was working off. Still tragic.

She walked off the boat barefoot before 6 AM and no one from the boat security/off boarding saw her?

You sound co okeyeky confysed.

Please watch the series before chiming in.

I did.... why do you keep saying that to people? The theories posted on most of these threads do not make sense. You think she got off the ship to score drugs??

Never once was there speculation that she WALKED off the boat.

There were illusions to the possibility that she was smuggled off the boat (say in a suitcase). It seems like you were not paying attention if you did watch it.

I did a deep dive into this case a few months back. No one knows what really happened but I came away thinking she was trafficked. Evidence that swayed me:
- she was a lifeguard and strong swimmer, which might not mean much BUT she also feared the ocean. She didn't want to go on the cruise because she did not like the open water. Anything can happen but it is unlikely someone with her background would get too close to the edge and fall over, unless pushed.
- by all accounts, she got a lot of attention from the crew and the band. She mentioned to her family that it made her uncomfortable. The crew did not adequately search the whole ship before letting people off.
- the location of the boat when she disappeared was very close to shore/docking. Experts have said if a body fell over, someone would have seen it or the body would have been found.
- photographer's pictures of her and only her are all gone.
- and that picture of the sex worker looks very much like her..
- finally, the FBI has kept the case open and think foul play was involved.

The series is a biased view of events.... even the series title is meant to give the viewers bias.

Well no one—INCLUDING YOU—knows where she is.

So, it would be correct to say she is missing.

The series raised multiple possibilities. The posters on here who are sure of one are the people with a bias.

Bingo. It is so arrogant that these armchair detectives are so certain of her fate, when the actual FBI agents (who have spent years on this case) are not.

You are the one who is not paying attention to the flow of this thread. The PP said she left the boat to score drugs. You wouldn’t forcibly be removed from a boat to voluntarily buy drugs.

She’s not missing, she’s dead.

All any of us can do is speculate. Her family had a suite and if Amy is like many folks on vacation, she may have left her shoes tucked under a chair. Lots of possibilities.

Also, our last cruise we were so tired at night I never heard my husband leave the room to go for early coffee. Lots of people can sleep through doors opening and closing.
