Senate races 2026

Sage is running in Iowa and he seems like a real salt of the earth type guy but Rob's sand would be amazing as well, but he is really the only thing that's keeping the governor in check at this point

Tuberville may be running for governor in Alabama, which means there would be an open senate seat.

There's really no place for comments like this. If you must insult Joni Ernst, insult her for her inexcusable flip-flop on Pete Hegseth.

+1. This is an incredibly misogynistic comment. Feel free to apply the same scrutiny of sexual behavior to male Senators.

There is a concerted effort around the coutnry (See NC, Texas, WI, the SAVE act eg.,) to make voting incredibly difficult.

While candidates are important, we need to be able to vote and to have our votes count.

Don't assume they will.

STOP. This doesn't help. And we don't obey in advance. Just stop.

+1 agreed. In purple states where every vote counts, the Trump admin disabling of voter protection entities and policies that provide bureaucratic impediments to voting can easily swing an election.

Stop what? Telling you to pay attention and just scout candidates? Sorry. Won't. If we don't act voter suppression will be real. In case you haven't noticed, our govt is acting erratically and Trump is emulating Orban and Duterte.

I'm not waiting until 2026 and hoping senate races fix things.

Susan Collins challenger: “I was in second grade when Susan Collins was first elected.

Now, I’m 35, a husband, and a father.

Susan Collins is still in the Senate, still just “concerned” while Trump cuts off funding to Maine food banks and public schools.

We need a new generation of leadership.”

If there are male Senators also sleeping with their DOD committee detailees then they should certainly be excoriated too.

1. I volunteer through and to organizations from Vote Save America

2. I write snail mail twice weekly to my senators about not passing the SAVE act and have gotten my friends in other states to do the same.

3. I am in the early stages of forming a group that will help women navigate the SAVE act if it passes.

4. I donate to the ACLU and Marc Elias.

5. Attend protests

6. Daily I remind my college students to know their rights and fight for them.

7. I sit on several committees at my college that are fighting back and attend our education sit ins for students.

What I don't do alone is sit on the internet waiting for our government to save us.

Only we can do that.
