Why did Kamala lose ?

People saw Kamala for what she was. A completed staged and fabricated political stooge to corporate and political interests. She didn’t have clear positions, the DNC prioritizes the influx of illegal aliens over our safety, told half the country they’re registered homophobic misogynists and if you didn’t support her you were a fascist.

I imagine most liberals woke up every day and their phones said 1/6/2021 and the date never changed, they hopped in their Tesla to go drive to get their abortion with their faded out Ukraine flag sticker on the back and their future is female shirt.

Meanwhile the rest of the country is like January what? Yeah look I don’t care I have to work overtime to pay the rent and food bills I used to be able to afford and not work overtime.

Trump was calling Pierre ricans garbage a week before the election, called for the suppression of the free press, and for Liz Cheneys execution all in the past week. Not sure why Dems are judged on a double standard. The question isn’t why Kamala lost - it’s why did trump win despite all of his disqualifying factors including counted felonies, staging a coup, being twice impeached for quid pro quo and trying to obstruct democracy, his general vileness and all the other corruption of his first term.

And I honestly have no idea. I am completely puzzled. Trump is a disaster of a candidate. My best guess is that voters just didn’t “like” Kamala for the same reasons they didn’t “like” Hillary- deeply rooted misogyny. The war in Gaza also likely fractured democratic support, not unlike Bernie bros in 2016.

I think the influx of Asians, middle eastern/muslim, African, etc. immigrants and voters (1st Gen particularly) means more conservative voters…obviously.

The amount of attention Democrats at all levels focus on transsexuals is certainly one factor contributing to the blow-out.

You need to look at the news media. It wasn’t the left-leaning publications that kept the issue front and center.

+1 and I’m a woman. I’m relieved this morning. My young daughter and I were watching the results last night on tv. She said it best. “I really don’t like Trump as a person. But I don’t like Harris either and hope she doesn’t win. Trump would be a better president.”
