Why do women get tattoos between their breasts?

I honestly couldn't care less about other people's tattoos.

But this is the one thing that always confuses. The people that are vehemently opposed to tattoos think that anyone that has a single one must work on the fringes of society.

I 100% guarantee you that there are MANY people in your life with tattoos that just don't know about. Doctors, Lawyers, CEOs.

People like George Schulz with a Princeton Tiger tattooed on his ass.

You don’t see men tattooing their junk like this.

Next time you see an older person with tattoos, do yourself a favor, and talk to them. Ask them about their tattoos. If they have meaning, where they got them, etc. They freaking LOVE talking about them.

Saggy skin looks like saggy skin regardless of if its inked up or not.

You guys act like people with tattoos don't understand the concept of aging. Of course we do. But we know saggy skin makes you look old regardless. In fact, if you think keeping yourself ink-free makes you look better as you age, you are actually the one deluding yourself.

Hell, you think these guys care about their saggy skin (or even care a little bit about what you think of their old tattoos)?

Wrong. Never ask about tattoos. It is a forbidden topic.

I've got lots of them. I love it when people ask me about mine.

It's part of their culture, not yours, so it's not for you to understand or support. They don't care about your opinion. It's attractive to those in their culture who would not be attracted to someone outside of it. I used to be judgemental about this stuff too but I've seen enough to learn it's just a cultural expression. People who regret them are those who straddle cultures or end up veering away into others. It's like not liking Lily Pulitzer, clubbing, hot rods, long acrylic nails, golfing... I'm not saying you can't be part of that culture and hate it though, you are just less likely to, but those outside of it shouldn't fret about something that doesn't affect them beyond "I don't find that attractive or tasteful"

This debate is like the debate about leggings being appropriate outside of workout settings. Some find it "trashy, disrespectful, unfit for society" others find them sexy/ attractive while those who wear them don't care about the opinions of others because they themselves enjoy them so much.

I have to agree w/this sentiment.

If I saw this woman somewhere, I would instantly assume she was a trashy tramp because she obviously put the tattoo there so men (+ maybe women too!) will be drawn to her chest.

There are so many women out there who do not have tattoos & look polished and very cleancut/proper.

It is sad that eventually those w/tattoos will regret their decision to mark their bodies when their skin gets old and sags.

Eww. 🤮

Ironically, surveys have shown that people that get small tattoos express regret over time. But people that get big tattoos show no regret.

I've had my ink for 20+ years. No regret at all.

Are you female? Under 60?
