The right wing controlled corporate media largely treats the election as a game. Sometimes the horse that will protect democracy is ahead and sometimes the horse that already tried to overthrow the government once is ahead (but they always kneecap the democracy horse!). But yeah, I think overall the GOP pps are generally pretty scared. They really thought he was going to get it in 2020, and then they thought red wave but it turns out that polls seem to oversample Republicans to a crazy degree and aren’t capturing the voters’ feelings on the GOP’s multiple assaults on freedom.
