Someone posted the ending to the book which is presumably also the ending to the show, which hasn't aired yet, which is annoying for those of us who haven't read the book (DP but I kind of agree, I felt blindsided by the spoiler and would have preferred not to have seen it). |
In the book she is actually 1/4 Korean.
|
In the book she is 1/4 Korean and her husband is white and they have a different dynamic where he is the more racist one.

I almost lost a child, and I can, at least if gala throwing was something I had done before. |
+1 if you had watched everything that had already been posted, it's a spoiler beond what should ahve bveen presented |
Ooh thanks. I'm going to skip this episode. Can you come back after 4 and make sure I'm not lost because of skipping that? I know there are a few of us that can't handle this so we all thank you. I'm very interested in the filipinas' lives so would like to stay with. Appreciate you. |
I mean, this is a central storyline. This may not be the show for you. I don’t (up to ep 2) find it that upsetting, maybe because they aren’t actively looking for the kid or just haven’t made the show that intense. I couldn’t ever watch Gone Baby Gone for the same reason. |
I found episode two a lot more upsetting in regards to a missing child than episode three. But yeah its only a 6 episode series, doesnt make sense to skip a whole episode because of a topic you don't like. Either just dont watch the show or fast forward the parts that feel too bad. |
This makes perfect sense, thanks. |
Only watched two episodes. But this is every parent’s worst nightmare. |
Nanny’s all have that worry. That the family will outgrow them |
And grandparents watching grandkids. You really don’t want to F up. |
Does anyone else get annoyed by all the characters saying how beautiful Nicole is, either to her face or telling each other that? Somebody first point it out to me in Big Little Lies and now I can’t unhear it. It only happened in the 1st episode (so far), but I did count it happening three times in that episode. Maybe as producer she puts a clause requiring that in every vehicle? |
I was annoyed by all blame being put on Mercy - who takes a random 20 something out to dinner and leaves your toddler with them in a chaotic night market. I didn't even like leaving my husband with my kids when they were toddlers in crowds because he would get distracted, she did lose the kid but she never should have had him in the first place without a serious talk about how likely he was to r un away |
Who’s Nicole? |
