Husband Brought Bud light to Fancy Christmas Party

If my childhood buddies brought cheap booze I’d go out out there and join them. I’d be upset if my wife sent that note that your husband got. But he should apologize since she was offended.

So you’re as classless as the DH. Got it.

and Travis Kelcey

Even Travis Kelce can't save Bud Light. It won't recover.

Bud Light is fine. Don’t you worry your pretty little MAGA head about it.

Fine? Yeah, sure. You don't even have to be a beer drinker to know it may never come back.

Umm, ok? They were quality cigars if that counts for anything. I mean, I’ve been to big law, investment banking and FA firm parties that also featured cigar bars. Not sure why this caught your eye. They were out on the deck away from the main party and the station was busy all night. Maybe we could have splurged on having them hand rolled on site to class it up?

Haha that lady is super uptight and definitely the type to throw a 50K party. Your husband sounds like fun

This sounds like a silly 80s movie. Is your dh Rodney Dangerfield teaching the high society to loosen up after they recoil in horror?

I can see how a big white marine cooler in the back patio might disrupt the perfect image they want to present but...... it is the same gift everone else is bringing, just in a different package. To me it sounds like the hostess is jealous of the lifelong friendship you, your friends, and her DH have. My advice to you is don't pick sides and don't intervene. Stay out.

It wasn’t a hostess gift. It was his own beverage of choice that he opted to drink, turning his nose up at what the hosts provided. Rude and making a spectacle of it was super rude.

“I married up and she married way, way down In Alabama where they love Nick Saban…” 😂

This whole thing reminds me of Rodney Daingerfield “Back to School.”

Your husband most likely made a big show of it because he is jealous of his friend’s success and was trying to bring him down a notch. There is no reason for you to apologize- you didn’t do anything wrong and you are not your husband’s keeper.
