4 students in University of Idaho, killed in their home.

I just heard the head of communications for the police say the roommates have not been ruled out as suspects.

But, since the victims were all out late (at a party and a bar), it could just be that the other girls were fast asleep by the middle of the night when all of this happened.

I read somewhere that the male appeared to have some defensive wounds. That would lead you to believe the others did not since ME specifically mentioned male victim.

I almost feel sorry for the police. They’re obviously small town cops and this is a horrific crime that’s attracting international attention. Of course they’re in over their heads.

Almost all upperclassmen live in off campus housing.

Completely depends on the school. I applied to 11 and made sure all of them offered housing all 4 years

I know that three of the colleges in DC require on campus housing for 3 years: Georgetown, George Washington and Catholic University.

One of the victim's father is saying that her autopsy showed that she fought back. That is just so hard to understand. If there was a scuffle, why did the others not flee? I don't understand. how do you kill 4 young people by knife unless it is done quickly when they are all passed out asleep?

Coroner is saying they were all killed in their beds. I don't find it weird that someone was fighting back but if they were in bed half asleep and maybe being prevented from screaming that they wouldn't be able to raise an alarm for the others.

Have there been any reports re whether any were restrained? That’s all I can fathom that would keep others from fleeing.

But two were in the same room (presumably the same bed).

I wonder what evidence they have in that regard. I hope it's not just bruising and random scrapes because drunk college kids always have a lot of bruises and scrapes from drunken stumbles.

I hope one of the victims was able to grab the perp's hair or skin for some DNA.

What an ignorant comment, you obviously know nothing about law enforcement.

Oh come on. Defensive wounds from a knife attack are not that.
