The book is a lot different. Same Lucy and Steven but it doesn't go down like this.

I don't even really remember who Lydia was? Just Lucy's friend? We didn't really know much about her right?

I have no recollection of Lydia either. Who is she? As an aside, anyone else find it completely unbelievable that someone like Lucy OR Diana would find this guy attractive. I found NOTHING about him to be attractive - externally or internally. I simply don't understand why these girls are gaga over him.

Agree I don’t get why all these girls - Macy, Diana and Lucy all get so obsessed with him. I guess he is supposed to be amazing in bed?

Stephen's hand & other visible tattoos are ridiculous. In the early aughts no professional law firm would have hired him. Even now tattoos are not the norm and certainly not the prison style of his.

Wasn’t Lydia previous relationship toxic? On that call she had with Lucy she said she don’t know why she stayed with the previous bf when he treated her so horribly and now she is engaged to psych Stephen? He is a psycho and a user so there must be some angle to this engagement.
