When 203 votes is “significant defections” but 200 votes is “overwhelming support.”

Thank you, 18:08/18:12, I’m assuming you’re the same person.

Yes, the “mainstream” media has an agenda and it is 100% pro-GOP. Everything is presented through a pro-GOP lens and using the GOP messaging. It’s absolutely disgusting.

It’s seriously mind boggling how god awful Trump was. As bad as the rising tide of GOP fascism is, it’s nice to have him out the White House.

It’s even more mind boggling that the press keeps up relentless negativity on Biden and the Democrats, totally unearned endless negativity. Part of it is that the media owners want it this way, part of it is the GOP working the media and part of it is the fact that the GOP just floods the zone with sit. They could never drill down on Trump’s crimes and general awfulness because there was JUST SO MUCH.

But I resent it because the media is just giving the GOP free air time. The party of stripping people’s rights and white christofascist identity politics and fascism and the media just hurdy dur durrs them like they’re folksy fun. It’s appalling.

If anyone thinks the MSM is tilted toward R's, I just can't help you. Fox is R. MSNBC, CNN are D. Wapo./NYT/LAT are D. WJ/Forbes are R. Network are D. Then both sides have their really niche type stuff (OAN, Newsmax, Epoch Times, Town Hall etc for R and Huff Post, Politico, Guardian, New Yorker etc for D)

Go to substack and hit independent journalists if you want to try and figure out both sides to a story, imo.

Reality disagrees with you. Studies disagree with you. Normal, educated human reality disagrees with you.

+1 Go find the last time Chuck Todd had an elected Democrat on Meet the Press.

This Chuck Todd, the same one who created a town hall for Donald Trump? That Chuck Todd?

Don't think so...here's at least one neutral observation and research. Bout right down the middle. You see only what you want to see...

Of course both sides have their media distribution networks. Been like that since news become a revenue generator for the networks and cable news was born out of the Clinton years. Something like over 90% of R's say their primary news source is Fox and over 90% of D's say their primary news source is MSNBC.

You all better open your eyes up and look for differing point of views than your own. It's the only way we will come back together...find some common ground or at least learn to respect an opposing point of view.

Spot on. Both sides think they’re side gets screwed w the media. When in reality, they are both in their echo chambers and when something comes along that doesn’t agree w their echo chamber, “bias” is cried aloud!

Take a look at this data. Interesting media habits. Guess it pays for media orgs. to pander to one side or the other. Add this in with the link posted above and it’s pretty clear that w a country that is 50/50, so is a divided media pandering to echo chamber participants.

Here’s another example of the New York Times, held up by cons as one of the most liberal news sources ever, completely blowing the coverage of women’s bodily integrity being stripped as “a decline in access,” i.e., using right wing framing rather than reality.

This country is not “50/50,” more like 60/40, and fascism is not just another opinion.
