Business must have gone very badly at Yay Lunch to suddenly shut down mid year like this. Didn't they enter into contracts with the schools?

Families at Green Hedges in Vienna were just notified. Too bad because my son was very happy to see the return of several of the restaurant options at the beginning of this month.

Who does WIS use? My kid said lunch during the shadow day was amazing…nothing like a typical school lunch in his experience.

Also go that email at Norwood. Not shocking--it was really going downhill. Seemed like a great business idea and their website was well designed but ultimately, we had to stop using it this year--unreliable, not healthy and really pricey. Hoping we find a good replacement vendor!

Just toured a school today where they said they use Yay Lunch. Either they haven't been informed or that info hasn't made it to the tour guides.

Yay lunch uses local restaurant. It looks like uber eat/doordash for school to me

Yay Lunch isn't shutting down entirely. Apparently they're only servicing their "highest performing" schools now.

Our K-8 Catholic School uses Vignola Gourmet and my very picky eaters love the hot lunch they get from their service.

Vignola is awful, in our experience. Turned out kids into lunch-packers every day. So maybe that is better in the end!
