VBAC friendly OB?

Does anyone know of a good OB who is very pro VBAC? I live in Gaithersburg near Shady Grove Hospital.

The midwives at Midwifery Care Associates (www.midwiferycareassociates.com) attend VBAC's at Shady Grove. If you truly want a successful VBAC, your best available option is to go to them. They will support you in your choice not just in word, but in action. They will do everything they possibly can to safely get you your VBAC.

Also, Washington Hospital Center has an in-hospital midwife program that takes VBAC. The most important thing to do is to get yourself to some ICAN meetings (there is a Northern Virginia, DC and Baltimore chapter)and get some pearls of wisdom from other mothers who have been there, done that. Nobody is getting VBACs handed to them on a silver platter anymore....you really have to fight for it, even with "pro-VBAC" providers. Good luck!!!
