Food fight: Among chains, Ledo is the best pizza

Anonymous
Can I get an amen?

I cannot figure out if it’s the sauce, the crust or the fact that they don’t cut corners.

Blech.

If I had to pick a chain, i’d go with Pizza Hut b/c that’s what I grew up with.

My husband thinks Grotto is the best 🤮

Ledo is different than pizza to me. I’d consider it more of a nacho or cheese and cracker product

Pizza Hut was good back in the 80s when they made crusts in house.

Did he grow up
With it? I think my childhood pizza (Blackjack) is the best but it’s probably terrible to a newcomer. I also think grotto is gross fwiw

Pizza is always a low quality food, no matter where it's from or how it was made. I've eaten pizza around the world and it has never NOT been disappointing.

He did! The sauce on top of everything is just so unappetizing to me.

Remember the checkered plastic tablecloths and the red soda glasses? Good times.

I like Ledo's because it isn't too salty. They go nuts with the cheese, though.

DC native here but sorry, Ledo and Grotto are both terrible pizza.

Appreciate the non-school thread, though!

Yes! We used to get a whole pitcher of soda, it felt so decadent.
