Bank Street Bookstore will be closing September 1

I just learned that Bank Street Bookstore — which specializes in books for children and educators— will be closing at the end of the summer. This will be a huge loss for the UWS neighborhood, and for kids, families, and those of us who enjoy buying books as gifts. I’ve been shopping there since they were located in the Bank Street School / College building. This store has been a NYC resource and treasure for a long time. I’m sure they will be deeply missed.
