| DS, 3.5, watches 30 minutes or less of TV a day, while I nurse our younger child. Our PBS kids subscription just ended, and we need something to replace Daniel Tiger. We have differing views on what constitutes quality television, and would benefit from knowing what other kids this age are allowed to watch. Which programs do you like? How much do your kids watch right now? Thanks! |
| My 4 year old (almost 5 though) watches Dino Dan, Dino Dana and Dino Trek on Amazon prime. He is now obsessed with dinosaurs and talks about them all the time. It is very cute. He also likes Barney, power rangers, bunch of netflix shows that I can't remember name. |
| The above, plus Peppa Pig (amazing), Wild Kratts, Sesame Street, Curious George. Some are available on YouTube. |
| Blue Clues, Wild Kratts, Little Einsteins |
| Hey Duggee, Blue's Clues |
| DD is 3.5 and is deep into Peppa Pig at the moment, but she also likes Daniel Tiger, Bumble Nums (on YouTube), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Doc McStuffins. |
| Frozen and Frozen 2. Over and over. |
|
Leapfrog letter factory if you’re looking for quality
Otherwise it’s Disney movies |
| Disney, Disney, Disney, Disney. |

My 3 year old is obsessed with Stinky and Dirty on Amazon Prime. If your DS likes trucks, he'll love it.
Tried to get him into Pete the Cat, but he's so-so on that one. We watch the same handful of Daniel Tiger episodes, he doesn't seem to mind. Season 1 and 2 are free on Prime if you have that. Then the free PBS kids app on Roku has a handful of episodes, and that changes weekly (or every other week). |
| ours likes Stinky and Dirty like the OP. Also PJ Masks, Noddy the Toddler Detective, Chip and Potato and Sesame Street |
| Dino Dana, Paw Patrol, Wish'n'poof (Wishenpoof?), Abby Hatcher |
| My DD watches mostly the PBS kids app- it's free and there are a handful of full episodes of each show and then tons and tons of clips from each show. She likes Daniel Tiger, Wild Kratts, Hero Elementary, Dinosaur train and sometimes Molly of Denali. She also sometimes watches Paw Patrol on the Nick Jr app. |
| Peppa Pig or Bluey usually. Sometimes Paw Patrol and recordings of the Disney Singalongs from earlier this year. We do movie night once a week and that's usually something on Disney +. Onward and Princess and the Frog are her favorites. She watches more TV now than during normal times when she'd be out at playgroup or doing activities. |

Frozen, Lion King, Moana, Brave, Mickey, Doc McStuffins, Wild Kratts, Xavier Riddle, Daniel Tiger, Let's Go Luna, Molly of Denali.
DD is 4.5. |
