Our oven broke and we are researching electric oven ranges. We want to spend between 1000-15000. We could go a bit higher if needed. We’re looking for recommendations. Thanks. |
I hate my glass top now. What a pain to clean! |
We have an induction range. It heats with magnets so the cooktop doesn't get hot and there is no burned on food to clean as with regular glass tops. You need to have stainless steel cooking pans. I love it. |
+1 we bought a GE Profile induction range at that price point a couple years go. I love induction! |
Induction trashes ANY vitamins in the food. |
Ever since GE was sold and bought by new company their product is garbage! I have 1500K dishwasher that is one year old and nothing but problems. I had their Microwave oven that was top of the line and was a magic for 15 years ZERO problems. NEVER AGAIN! Do read the reviews, people are complaining. My dishwasher has tons of cheap parts that you can only see when the repairman comes. And we already had them come so many times.. you pay for all as it start falling apart right after the warranty is done. |
Found this older post - we are in same position and seeking recs for electric 30” stove, aiming for 1000-1500 range. |
The newer LGs are pretty good: https://www.homedepot.com/p/LG-Electronics-6-3-cu-ft-Slide-In-Electric-Range-with-ProBake-Convection-Oven-Self-Clean-and-EasyClean-in-Stainless-Steel-LSE4613ST/206631971 People seem to really hate the Samsungs, and GE quality has nosedived. |
