I thought it was a great interview and she wss very articulate and fair. The interviewer was a little myopic but Spanberger was very all encompassing with regards to schools and solving the issue being discussed.

I would like my girls to have protection from individuals that were born male but identify with female from being in the same bathroom or changing room with them. I don't want my girls to feel more uncomfortable when they are already in an area like a bathroom or changing room that makes them vulnerable by having them remove clothing near someone who was born a male. Some women already feel uncomfortable changing in front of other women, why would anyone ever think it's ok to add a born male into that mix? I would expect the same for my son and that he shouldn't have to be in a situation where he goes to a bathroom/changing room with a person born as a female. This is not ok. I have no idea why we are making kids think that it's ok. I understand that some people identify with another gender and that is fine with them and me. The acceptance should not be forced upon everyone.

Do you even have a kid in high school? No one uses lockers to change unless you are a football player and maybe a couple of other sports. Most kids just dont use them. Its like the library book issue. No one is taking books out of the library and no one is reading a printed book anymore. These issues affect kids at a very low level because they just arent part of their day for the most part.

I have 2 kids in high school and THIS is an issue. The things my kids feel like they are "forced" to accept is not right. How is this any different than grooming? And while I would like to hear some good reasons not to vote for Sears, all the extreme Democrats who say everyone must vote Dem or they have lost their minds are crazy. Trump is not taking away anyone's right to vote. Both the Dems and Republicans are to blame for the government shutdown, the Fed was too big and filled with ineptitude (that was well know talk around DC) that you could joke about a bad employee never being fired but just re-assigned. Give me logical, rational reasons and I will listen.

Have you been paying attention at all?? if you have kids in HS you need to wake up. Trump is setting this country up to help the super wealthy and that’s it. I have no optimism for the future job market due to AI and all the company consolidation that is being allowed. Unemployment is going up. Housing costs and food costs, healthcare costs. All expensive and the current administration could care less. Very very worried for my children and all these hysterics about bathrooms in HS are so the least of our problems.

Democrats are focused on protecting health insurance, healthcare for women, voting rights, social safety nets like SNAP, etc.
