Am I only one debating what strong adult beverage to have at hand for tomorrow's announcement?

I need to run to the liquor store tonight...I'm thinking I'm going to need that drink regardless of what the Mayor says!

She's not going to say anything definitive. How can she with the school year being three months away

The powerpoint leaked to NBC extinguished the flicker of light at the end of the tunnel and I have been in a deep, dark place. Your are not alone!! Cheers, and solidarity.

Yeah it's either going to be a big nothingburger or terrible news such as the class once a week.

Its too early to announce anything specific. Just hoping we hear what the start date of whatever awaits us will be.

Are we even sure that there will be an announcement tomorrow?
Anonymous
It would be idiotic to announce anything this early

It would be nice if she could give us a start date at least. The rest is up in the air, but that would be helpful.

I'm a big fan of anything sweet and cheap these days. Don't spend a lot of money on the good stuff because we're going to be doing some heavy, consistent drinking all year.

The start date is going to remain the same. Teachers are working until the end of the contract time this school year. They are not saving any time to use later.

I'm not convinced it's going to be anything all that informative. She isn't going to make a definitive announcement about anything but might lay out the options they are considering that have already been leaked by NBC4. She hasn't been particularly decisive about anything relating to COVID and tends to wait until MD and VA have made decisions. Not sure why we'd expect anything different tomorrow.
