We're looking at getting a used Odyssey -- currently debating between a 2017 and 2018. I'd seen some things about the new generation (2018-current) having bad A/C vent positioning that makes it difficult for rear-facing kids and those in the 3rd row to get any air. The 2017s (and earlier) seem to have roof vents for better circulation. Given that it doesn't look like we'll have DC-summer weather this next week (when we're hoping to make a final decision), was wondering if anyone has insight on how the new generation holds up during the summers.
We'll have 3 kids -- two FF and one infant. Our oldest will probably be in a booster in the 3rd row. We hope this car will last us a while so will eventually be used for carpools, etc, so we definitely want something that cools evenly. *We'd looked at Siennas and Pacificas but overall liked the Odysseys better. |
