| I currently drive a VW golf GTI that I love. However baby is getting bigger and also needing a convertible seat so I’ve been thinking of trading it in for a compact SUV, but also not sure if it’s really necessary. I tend to be minimal with stuff and will not likely have another child. I love driving the gti but also wonder if it’s safer to get a bigger car with more room and AWD, or if it’s generally kind of an American thinking. |
| We had a kid in a Jetta until booster age when we got a legacy. We did the diono radian with the angle adjuster |

Tesla model 3? www.tesla.com/model3
You didn't say what your budget is though. The Model 3 starts at $39k. If you want an SUV, the Model Y is a "crossover," starts at $46k. www.tesla.com/modely |
| It's not necessary. The kid will fit in the GTI fine. |

"american thinking"...lol why is every VW driver a closeted euro-snob.
A heavier car with a higher seating position will fare better in an accident. Your precision-engineered econobox is neither. That's just physics. |
