Yep. While mom and pops are kicked out from their little shops and eateries. While Wells Fargo refuses to accept applications from small businesses unless they had an account with the min February. Which is against the rules set by the government.

Your link goes to information about the financial crisis bailout from the beginning of the Obama administration. It has nothing to do with the stimulus program that is underway now.
|
Oh, sorry! Will try to find something. Actually why am I having a hard time finding this information? Do you know where I can find that info? Which companies got money so far? |
|
Oh, geez, OP.
You start with a sarcastic accusation and can't even find a link to support your premise. Good luck in your search. LOL. |
There's no oversight. Trump fired the person who would have been in charge of oversight, in order to keep the distribution opaque. |
I don't think there is a comprehensive list. There is a thread about the PPP program in our Money and Finance forum that has a link for public companies that someone composed by going through SEC forms. But I don't know about anything listing private companies, let alone self-employed individuals. |
In my defense the date was recent. Why can't I find where the money is going? I think regardless of my fumble that is a very, very valid question. No oversight, no news on the money apart from Shake Shack and Lakers and a couple of the DMV private schools. Why don't we change the topic to, does anyone know which companies and conglomerates are getting the money? |
Thanks! Not surprising though, right?I feel like a fool thinking small, regular people like me would ever know this! |
I suspected it, but was still naive, I guess! |

SBA will eventually have to release where the went money. I'm sure they've already received FOIA requests.
Similarly, the Fed will need to disclose the names of banks that pledge PPP loans to the liquidity facility and the nature of the loans that are the collateral (name of borrower, amount, etc). All in due time, likely before the election. |

Here is the link to public companies:
