Zoom - virtual background question. Can see clothes but no head?!

Anonymous
Hi - So, when I click on a virtual background in Zoom, I can see colorful things (like my shirt, scarf) on top of the background photo, but I cannot see my head, hands. It's super weird. Anyone know why this is, or how to fix?

It means you're a ghost. There is no fix.

LOL. Awesome. I was hoping to lose some weight anyway...

Any other ideas??

Is the virtual background for paid accounts?

That’s the Invisible Man background.

If you don't have a green screen, make sure you uncheck that box.

A client used this last week and was sitting in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. At one point it looked like he was flying like superman. It was distracting and funny.

OP here - ah, thanks. I bet that is it. when I try that, the program is telling me that I need to update my computer to 13.1 and above. My mac OS software is 10.12.6, but when I check for an update, there are none. Guess this feature isn't going to work for me on the computer. thanks...

Nothing to lose your head over.

If it's practical try a cheap green screen, like from Amazon. I think the computer uses fewer resources when using a green screen.

I’m running Zoom on a mac with the Catalina OS, so like 10.15 I think and background screen thing still won’t work for me either without a green screen. I don’t get it.

I'm running Mojave (10.14.6 )and had no problem with the Virtual Background this week. I've used Zoom 3 times and used the beach and the stars. Did you download the Zoom app or are you trying to do it through the website? I used the app. No problems.

There is no OS13, OP, it is probably referring to the Zoom app. Trash it and download it again.
