Zelensky continues to be obstinate in the face of the upcoming summit and says he won’t concede any land. Do you guys think Trump will use it to end the whatever support of Ukraine that the U.S. is still providing?

It's a complete joke of a "deal." Putin is demanding the ENTIRETY of every oblast that Russian troops have two boots in, in exchange for returning the few square miles they control near Sumy back to the Ukrainians. And that doesn't even come with a ceasefire agreement. It lets Russia keep on invading the rest of Ukraine after giving all that land up. Zelenskyy is right to reject it.

I am not to say if Z is right or wrong, I want to know if his rejection is going to change anything for his country. Will it just mean the status quo as it is now? Or Trump getting angry and stopping support? He doesn’t seem to be able or maybe willing to completely stop it for whatever reason, that’s my impression.

Europe doesn't really have the capability to support Ukraine. Some are bumping up defense spending to 5 percent of GDP now, but it's a little late. The reality is that Europeans and Canada have been parasitical countries for decades, simply relying on the US. But the war in Ukraine is a very high intensity war. And NATO doctrine doesn't accommodate long wars. There isn't enough ammo out there to support three years of war. And then add the changing nature of warfare - drones - and it's clear the lazy West isn't prepared for this. At all.

Ukraine will have to make its choice. But this war does highlight how inadequate the US and the West are in near peer conflict. The US has air power now, and long may it continue. But it is a grim battlefield today. Unsurvivable for soldiers on the ground.

And Russian men have a very bizarre willingness to die. They are riding motorcycles now on their assaults over open land - and getting destroyed by drones, mines, and dialed-in artillery. The whole thing is sad and awful.

If only history told us how the Russians fight. Yet Europeans feel the need to march west every century or so and get absolute btfo.

We even made a big alliance against Russia that can’t fight them.

Didn't Zelensky make a deal with Trump over minerals, yet Trump is still not going to help and will just push yet more unearned concessions for Russia... seems like sham theater to benefit Putin if that's the outcome.

Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff 'misunderstood' Putin. When Putin demanded Ukraine withdraw from its own Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, Witkoff thought Putin meant Russia will withdraw its forces.

I was under the impression that there is still some aid available to Ukraine, even if only their surveillance data for example. I believe there’s also some ammo being sold to Europe and then sent to Ukraine? I am not quite sure what the situation is, but it doesn’t look like he is benefiting Putin too much?

I think they are too invested by now, at least Europe is, which has also fallen too much for the rhetoric of evil dangerous Putin. If they just guaranteed him there would be no nato expansion there would have been no war. Maybe they also want to weaken Putin so why stop if it’s not then dying.
As for Trump, what puzzles me is that he is supposed to be Putin’s lap dog yet he doesn’t seem to cater too much to him.
