Can I manage/edit Whole Foods Amazon Prime delivery order?

Anonymous
Yesterday I placed a Whole Foods Prime delivery order, but the earliest available delivery was tomorrow night. Since then, we've found some items we needed at our local grocery store. I went online to try to edit the order and can't figure out how to do it. I Googled and didn't come up with anything. I tried calling but was on hold forever.

Does anyone know if it's possible to edit an order that was placed? I don't want to cancel the whole thing and start over because I'm sure delivery dates will be much later than tomorrow.

You can’t edit. You have to cancel and reorder everything. It’s really frustrating that they don’t have a more advanced process for editing orders, but I’ve had the same issues and asked them about it and that’s what they told me.

Ugh, that’s what I wanted to avoid. I’m sure the next available date is way out. That really sucks and will probably prevent me from using them more. -OP

Good news! I went on Amazon's customer service chat and they removed the unwanted items for me. It took around an hour or so since I kept getting disconnected, but it got done! -OP

Most frustrating thing ever. I tried to edit an order for tonight to add items I had forgotten. Twice. Couldn't edit, so I ended up having to do two new orders! And they are all coming at around the same time. How inefficient. Before the Amazon worker starts on the Order it should be able to be edited! Hope you are listening Jeff Bezos! Fresh Direct app is much more user friendly!

You can work on the Amazon Fresh orders until they start working on them. I agree it's annoying to be stuck with what you've got in your cart when you place the Whole Foods order. I'd also like a "save it for later" option on my grocery carts, just like in the regular Amazon cart.

Same issue here, I am trying to add a $25 item to an order scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning and there is no way. I don't want to even go on chat for that, it should be an easy to do. Walmart currently lets you edit an order as many times as you want until a certain time prior to delivery. Why not Amazon / Whole Foods?

If you have a mobile device -- iPhone, iPad, etc., download the Amazon app. When you sign into the app, you will see your Whole Foods order and you can edit it there.

No, you can't edit your order after checking out.

I have been able to edit (add, delete) my order right up until they begin to pull. It doesn't matter whether I am on my desktop or my phone app.

Is there a way to have whole foods order items automatically added? There's a bunch of things we get on our monthly order. Is there a way to save that monthly order?

I think there is a way but I don't know what it is. I just click on the See All Past Purchases link and then scroll through the grid that comes up. If you find out how to do it then post back!

You can add atuff. If you've already ordered and have a delivery date set, just add the items you want to your cart. A button will pop up asking if you want to add it to your existing order. Click and you're good to go. Should be able to do it up until they start shopping.

You can always add up until the time your order starts being packed, but you can never delete or reduce the quantity of items.

I was able to add several items to my existing Whole Foods order. I clicked on the View Order button in the order confirmation email, then put several items in my cart. At the checkout screen, it said those items had been added to my order. I then received an email confirming the updated order.
