I would suggest looking at a board that is more California based. You are posting in a forum that is focused on a specific program in Fairfax County, Virginia. While there are people from all over the country that look here, I don't think there are too many people with experience in California.

I’m pretty sure AOS/AET is Loudoun County’s gifted services. And that is just a test the take for eligibility determinations.

Gotcha. I read the California and jumped to, well, California. I don't know Loudon well enough to know those particular programs. My apologies.

Look at AOS/AET website for good percentiles. My son said that the highest overall score at his school was 90 and 97th percentile; however, he also said that the percentiles may have been incorrect because he said there were two kids that got same overall score, but one got 75th percentile while the other got 25th percentile.

Since there are ~600 finalists, (an estimated guess,) your DC should be fine at anything over the 80th percentile. 60th - 80th percentile would be risky, but getting in wouldn't be out of the question.

Speaking of which, how much did your DC get? Mine got 84th percentile with an overall score of 83.
