I have 3 kids and I’m a SAHM. I haven’t even planned spring break yet. I feel like all the good camps are getting full.
I’m actually usually a good planner but so much is up in the air. We have friends who have their entire summers booked with camps and trips and beach houses I’ve got absolutely nothing planned yet. |
Me either. Another SAHM. I figure I can always wing it. |
I usually have all of summer booked in January. I’m about 75% done with summer planning and intend to have it done by end of February. Since you are at home, you have some flexibility so don’t worry! |
Mostly - camps are booked for all but two weeks, vacation plans are in place. Spring break is booked too.
I'm a full-time working mom so it is pretty essential that our breaks are planned in advance. |
Yes, everything is booked. But I work ft, so this is an issue of childcare. All camps and vacations are booked. |
Op here. One of DS’s friends was asking about putting our kids together in camp. A week passed and she already booked the entire summer. |
I don’t even have tomorrow completely planned. |
Yes. You do this before Christmas. What do you mean by “[you] have a good planner” |
SAHM - swim team, two, maybe three speciality camps will fill June and July. August, recover from the busy summer. |
I don’t but it’s on my radar already. I do have spring break planned though and thinking of Christmas. |
Yes, as FT working parents, we have the summer already planned out (not that every week is booked). The camps my kids want to go to - mostly rec center ones- have already filled up. In fact, some of the cooking ones sold out within a couple of hours of registration.

yes |
SAHM here. Spring break was booked last August. Summer is swim team until mid July, a couple weeks of camp, a few weeks of nothing, then vacation the last full week before BTS activities begin. |
Yes. When you work, you have to have it booked. There’s no winging it. |
Yes. Everything is planned, and then we have backups in case things fall apart. |
