He wants to move it to one of his properties. Bet me.

Didn't he already try this previously?

He wanted to move the 2020 G7 to Trump Doral. But then it was canceled because 2020.

Well, before the pandemic cancelled the G7 that year Trump changed his mind and decided to host it elsewhere because the G7 at Doral was a bridge too far even for most Republicans. Of course, that didn't stop Trump from blaming Democrats and the media for his reversal.

If he really wanted this, why couldn't he just make his daughter-in-law, the new coordinator of the RNC, move the convention? I thought that he put her there so that he could control the RNC.

Jake Sherman - MSNBC. No surprise he would say something that is not true.

People in the room say it never happened.......

Ha! I knew they would try to spin this. I guess not a good look for a swing state. Such liars.

Spin not going so well

Where is the "Because he was there. Jake Sherman wasn't" poster to help us interpret the revised spin?

Hard to believe the GOP wants to sign for another four years of this.

That poster doesn’t realize that Jake Sherman was Kevin McCarthy’s mouthpiece for years and is now getting leaks from other GOP Congressmen.

Deflect! Deflect!
Trump definitely said it. And it’s surprising he said it to no one.

Apparently, you believe everything you read.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-threatened-probation-officer/

That link doesn’t have anything to do with Trump praising Hannibal Lecter. Why are you posting it?

There’s video from AP of Trump congratulating the fictional character in public last month though if you want to look at that. https://youtu.be/e2CnJFcx1YA?si=dx_nLZzskpbjgQJ-

Good grief. It is true that liberals have no sense of humor.

Hannibal Lecter.... "I'm about to have a friend for dinner."

It was a joke, idiot.

We all heard it. It was an incoherent ramble. A stream-of-consciousness that went off the deep end. You can't gaslight us about it because all we have to do is pull up the original video to confirm what we heard.

+1
No we get the joke, the joke - as well as the weird love for the “wonderful guy, Hannibal Lecter” - just doesn’t make any sense there.

It doesn’t make sense because Trump has dementia.

I've been to Milwaukee. It is a pretty horrible city. Crap ridden infrastructure.

They have pot holes that rival Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I never thought I would see that.

This post is a great example of why Republicans usually wait for the officially talking points to be disseminated before trying to respond.

Not only is the official line from the Party Faithful that Trump never said this but also the city was run by Republicans for a very long time as another PP said.

Oops, PP. Should have waited a minute.

So many Republicans grew up in authoritarian homes; a servile response to a crazy man’s rantings is how they feel most comfortable.

Yep, four more years of walking back or spinning away almost everything that Trump says or tweets in the middle of the night. This Milwaukee thing is a great example of it.
