Well, before the pandemic cancelled the G7 that year Trump changed his mind and decided to host it elsewhere because the G7 at Doral was a bridge too far even for most Republicans. Of course, that didn't stop Trump from blaming Democrats and the media for his reversal. |

This post is a great example of why Republicans usually wait for the officially talking points to be disseminated before trying to respond. Not only is the official line from the Party Faithful that Trump never said this but also the city was run by Republicans for a very long time as another PP said. Oops, PP. Should have waited a minute.
