How did the vote go. My son wants to know if there will be a little league season in 2024.

He hopes everyone will be nice to each other

Email below from NWLL with election results. Mix of old and new it seems.

any parents want to get waivers with me to another league??? other leagues don't have these issues. we already applied for waivers today and just found out about this site today. more players to other leagues and we all win. will be coaching and having players that want to win and develop skills and not deal with Mike K erin S and this drama.

Good idea - as long as any of the old bunch you can be sure the emphasis won’t be on helping kids out. Don’t know what the new folks will do, but this league stopped being about kids a long time ago.

A LL rule change for 2025 at ages 4-7 means you can join any league you like and stay in that league through 12 as long as you play continuously for the league. Relief is almost here for some.

That is interesting.

This rule could kill Banneker. There are a decent number of kids that play LL (or want to play LL) in the Banneker boundary, but the league is run so poorly. It is essentially bordered on all sides by CCLL, NWLL and CHLL.

This will make LL more like almost all other youth sports, where the strong programs crowd out the weak ones. Sounds good for the kids.

There’s not going to be a NWLL in 2025.

NP here. What is the rationale for this?

The bigger question is, what's the rationale for boundaries in the first place? It's not something that's normal in youth sports.
