You know you've made it when you have hedge row mazes. That staircase and kitchen too!

That's fantastic. I would not change a single thing about it.

I love the curb appeal, outdoor space, and especially the labyrinth! All the tile and the inside, not so much.

Just thinking the same thing.

It is house porn and it's a gorgeous house on a fabulous street.

The inside is definitely a bit unusual. It's as if when the house was built they couldn't make up their mind if they wanted a Georgian or a Tudor and settled on a Georgian exterior and Tudor interiors. I know it's not quite Tudor inside but the detailing are definitely strong, with the stippled stone entry hall. Do like the French paneling in the living and dining rooms.

Love the outside, but OMG the inside. The foyer is ... scary.

Yes, Baltimore probably has some of the most beautiful homes in the entire country, but alas, they're in Baltimore. The property taxes on this are insane, and they just had record murder this year.

It's the opposite for me.

That Baltimore house was for sale in 2008 and they couldn't get an offer. Price reduced TEN YEARS LATER and still no offers.

I'd take a house with 1/5th the square footage that is going to appreciate over time over a home that is going to fall apart around my ears and be impossible to sell any day.

Most of those people are financially-savvy. This place has been reduced $300,000 in value in just ten years.

Meanwhile its gorgeous, 4,000 square feet, and only almost half an acre. Its also ACROSS THE STREET from Giant and a Mom's.

In D.C. that value would have gone up a $1,000,000 in the same time period.
