When to start a new thread vs revive an old one.

Anonymous
Elizabeth Warren had a nice tweet thread yesterday that I wanted to discuss. There are definitely active threads regarding Warren, but more in the context of the dust up with Bernie and her NYT half-endorsement... add it to one of those or revive an old one? Which old one? On here as on google, I am one of those people who seems to suck at searches. I get all manner of that which I don’t want because I can never remember what old threads were titled.

Ordinarily I wouldn’t ask but I don’t want it to get locked immediately for being redundant.

In the Political Forum I only care about multiple threads if the existing one is on the first page or very recently pushed to the second. If you have to search to find an old thread, start a new one.

Thanks, OP and Jeff! I have often wondered about this as well but just did not ask.
