Zoolights Security -- what to expect

Trying to figure out how minimal I need to be with gear. If you have been in the last week, what is it like? Metal detectors? Should I try to fit everything in my pockets and skip a purse?

Bulletproof vests are allowed.

I have not been this year since the incident after Thanksgiving but security is normally very minimal. Quick bag check and nothing really looked for. No metal detectors. And people who were at the zoo already don’t need to leave so people have their normal zoo bags.

We went last week, parked in a side lot and went through no security check at all.
