What color sofa with this rug?

We have the serenata ruggable rug. Right now we have a light grey sofa and we are wanting a change. What color would look good with this rug? Iill link the website and also post a pic bc it def ended up more light blue and not cool blue in person.
We don't really want to get another ruggable cover and would like to work with this one. Open to any and all suggestions, from another gray tone sofa to a bolder color

Great.. thanks. Any indigo or deep blue sofa recommendations? We want something with a deeper than normal seat, plush and comfy, higher back for head support but not too big. Something you want to lounge on

Actually I agree with PP on the rust red. A cool orange tone might work too. I'll see if I can find a pic as an example.

What are you trying to achieve OP? Sofa will dominate the room and the color is very important. It can make the room light ,, dark or put specific mood. It can be modern or traditional so with that carpet in mind, and the floor and the wall color. you need to take into consideration everything at once, and dont' forget to take into consideration as well the light situation, is the room dark or light already per lights and floor and wall colors.

The safest bet ever is white. It will go with every floor, every wall and every carpet. I will make dark room lighter and light room keep light.
It can go with dark floor or light foor. It is very forgiving because when you have white sofa and that carpet you can accent antoher color,
but when you have that carpet and sofa in some color then you have to be careful how you play the accent colors. The more color the more expertise in what goes well with what.
