F.R.I.E.N.D.S. logo everywhere. Why?

Anonymous
Why am I seeing so many people wearing the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. logo lately? Just in the last two days I've seen it on t-shirts or sweatshirts three times, on a young mom or nanny with three little ones, on a middle schooler sagging his pants below his boxers, and on a college-aged woman in doc martens. And I saw it a couple times last week. What gives?

There is a line at Walmart. So maybe thats why?

I was wondering the same thing. I don't understand the love, the show hasn't aged well at all.

Stupid millennials are just getting around to watching it. They want their own lives to be like the fictional ones on the show, complete with the unrealistic large apartment maintained by a waitress and an often unemployed chef.

This is so dumb. You know most millennials are in their 30s, right?

It's not millennials watching it! I'm a millennial and we watched it the first time. It's the next generation - I've read a few articles about it recently, apparently it's Netflix's most watched show. I haven't seen it for years but apparently it HAS aged well as kids today really like it.

The show would have been on when you were between 6-16. You were NOT watching Friends during its first run. You guys are just getting into it now like you discovered something new

Do you not pay attention to anything at all? This has been all over the internet and news -- it's the Friends 25th anniversary so they're doing a lot of promotions.

Yes, but this doesn't explain why people are now *wearing* it.

NP because there is a lot of new tie-in merchandise for sale in conjunction with the 25th anniversary.

I was on a college tour with DC last spring, and the guide said "you probably noticed the Friends logo on posters around campus, those announce our campus mixers (or whatever the term would be)." I just thought, hmm, that went over my head, 'cause I was busy in college when the show got going. Clearly, it's back, at least as a meme.

You clearly don’t know what a millennial is- I was in middle school and high school when it was airing and absolutely watched it every week with my friends.
