I am starting get the nursery ready and I need some ideas for colors/schemes. Where did you find your inspiration? Websites? Magazines?

If you are more traditional with colors/schemes Pottery Barn Kids has great ensembles. Or you could get ideas from there and do your own thing. I ordered some stuff from www.babybedding.com and the service was terrific and we loved the bedding.

I wanted an extension of our home - no theme rooms here - so we chose a dark wood crib and light fabrics to compliment. We don't know the sex of the baby either so it's a pretty neutral palette, but I did want some kind of blue regardless. We went with Bratt Decor (www.brattdecor.com) for the crib and House Inc (www.houseinc.com) for the bedding. We didn't purchase any of the matching furniture for the crib. Instead we're using an antique dresser for the changing table. There are a lot of silver and glass/resin accents in the nursery, too, with picture frames, containers, lamps, etc. It's compliments our style of decor throughout the house, but is still baby/kid friendly. Good luck!

I got some ideas from www.sweetpeachesbedding.com and then made stuff myself or bought similar.
