The mob has also blocked the entry/exit points. Eventually they will surrender.

Police are able to tell exactly who is in the building based on their phones.

They should be treated as "fairly" as the J6 defendants.

Agreed. I'm somewhere in that moderate political spectrum range, and the applicable law should be applied to these trespassers. I bet many/most across the political spectrum agree.

Is this part true because I had not heard of that. I think they should be arrested and prosecuted for breaking and entering. I had January 6 flashback. Both groups are different sides of the same coin.

Yes. They were eventually released after being detained by the mob last night.

News Flash:
Except this time so-called protesters are funded and directed by Democrat billionaires.

Why would they do this? The Dem billionaire establishment wants Biden re-elected and these protests are damaging his prospects bigly.

“ Protesters inside Hamilton Hall at Columbia University have hung banners reading “Intifada" after they vandalized and took over a university building last night.

A Columbia facilities worker was “held hostage” as students occupied the hall.

The university asked those "who can avoid coming to the Morningside campus today" to do so.”

There aren't "dem billionares" funding this.

If there is any funding, it is coming from Tehran and Moscow.

I wonder why these students weren't protesting the ethnic cleansing of Uyghurs in China? Or the thousands of children that have died of starvation in Yemen? Or the atrocities in Syria? Or the expulsion of 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh? Or the coup in Burkina Faso? What about the six million people that have been killed in Congo over the past twenty years? Or the collapse of Haiti?

There seems to be something particularly about Israel. I wonder what it could be.

Pro-Hamas is actively taking over @columbia’s campus and holding Facilities members hostage. They have taken over Hamilton Hall and are moving outdoor picnic tables to the building to barricade themselves inside the building further.

There are Facilities people locked inside Hamilton Hall with pro-Hamas. Public safety is aware and not doing anything to help them.

Breaking: "Facilities worker says anti-Israel Columbia University agitators 'held me hostage'"

The protesters are progressively getting worse and have crossed the thin line of protesting to criminal actions.

Why do the far leftists on college campuses that are breaking into buildings and holding people hostage look exactly like J6 people? Two sides of the same coin.

Liberals run amok

No one was held hostage. Please provide testimony for your lies.

They are following the example of maga on Jan6. Why is the right totally bought by Israel? Why does the right choose Israel over America every time?

Why does the left support terrorists that beheaded children?

Michael Krull wrote: Pro-Hamas protestors at Columbia, GWU, Northwestern, etc., all have a list of demands, among which is divestment from institutions that do business with Israel.  The U.S. government does business with Israel, so if students really mean what they say, they should refuse student loans.  Taken further, they should withdraw from these universities which also take federal money. “ that would be a good test of the student commitment to divestment
