My brain just can’t comprehend how this movement in that direction is even possible. All the GOP has done in the pas year is ban books, kill women, try to block the infrastructure bill they all take credit for now and yell about wokeness.

Let me explain with one word: Overkill.

Overkill by fact checkers
Overkill by prosecutors
Overkill by judges
Overkill by DoD
Overkill by media
Overkill by FBI
Overkill by NIH

In short, we just don’t believe y’all anymore

Cute. Jordan and Comer have been caught lying and you don’t believe American institutions. You are not a patriot.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

My question is why the overkill everywhere? Why the constant hate from day 1. Well, we know some of it is because he beat Hillary (well, maybe he didn’t because she insists there was cheating) and humiliated Obama. Using a sub machine where a pistol would do tells me that something is amiss in liberal-land

Well, his testimony seems to contradict the actual facts of what happened, given the Shokin WAS NOT investigating Burisma and was removed for his inaction.

Since there is conflicting testimony, it all needs to be investigated.
I am not convinced that Shokin was NOT investigating Burisma.

It’s not a debatable question. It’s a fact. It was thoroughly researched in Ukraine by everybody. It was researched by Republicans in the Senate. Burisma/Shokin is a dead horse your guys keep beating. It isn’t going to get up and run.

In May 2021 Shokin published his book in Brussels "Untold stories of Joe Biden's corruption in Ukraine or who cannot become US President". Every American should read it. But wait, you cannot buy it in US (I guess because one of the parties supports book bunning)

thanks for the interesting info, i will certainly read it as soon as i am finished with another interesting book i am reading, "Ellion Ness - the real crime boss who framed me" by Al Capone and "How an honest farm boy from down South was injustly convicted by racist gringos" by El Chapo

Are you really this dense? Go back and see how he characterized large swaths of Americans during his 2016 campaign (e.g., muslims, gold star families, disabled reporters, women (Hollywood video "grab 'em by the..."), Hispanics (remember his opening campaign speech about Mexico?), POCs (e.g., Central Park Five, Obama birtherism)). Recall how he treated the Russian hacks of the DNC and the Clinton campaign. He could've said there was no place for this even as he benefited from the slow drip of those emails. Instead, it was "Russia, if you're listening". Russia did support the GOP through $30 million in donations laundered through the NRA. Clear ties to the Trump campaign may have never occurred although Trump Jr. clearly met with Russian go betweens related to those emails ("I like it better later in the summer"). Even before the 2016 election concluded, TFG was already calling the election "rigged". That is, until he won following Comey's last-minute reopening of the Clinton email case.

Do you recall his reaction to the Charlottesville "unite the right" rally? "Many good people on both sides." Do you recall how he left the people of Puerto Rico to fend for themselves after that hurricane disaster? I'm not even going to get into the number of incompetent and criminal appointees that represented him during his administration or the list of lies that MSM tabulated. Feel free to look up how many times he had to replace his chief of staff as well as cabinet level appointees (only 4 of the 44 cabinet level appointees are currently endorsing him btw). Do you recall his decision not to divest his investments and allow foreign countries to rent out whole blocks of his hotels? That was a whole new precedent set. Carter had to sell his peanut farm. TFG kept everything, allowing his sons to manage it.

Do you recall that he went on record as believing Putin over his own intelligence agencies? Do you recall why he was impeached for the first time? Withholding Congressionally approved aid from Ukraine to try to get dirt on Biden. Do you recall that he denied that there was a pandemic, assumed it would magically end, and when it didn't, cynically did nothing to prevent it since it was a "blue state problem"? COVID was tragic. It was made worse by his incompetence and cynicism and willingness to sow divisions when unity was needed. Do you recall why he was impeached for the second time? Fomenting an insurrection and preventing the peaceful transition of power, all the while cynically pushing a false narrative of election fraud.

I wouldn't call it hate. But you have some nerve ignoring the lies, crimes and shame he has brought to this country. Either all of these independent investigations and impeachments are a big, coordinated conspiracy to take TFG down or maybe, just maybe he's guilty of at least some of the things that he has been indicted for. When the dust settles, I hope you do some soul searching as well as read up on your history of fascists as well as this sad chapter in American history.

add the downgrade of the US's debt. it would not have happened without the circus around raising the debt ceiling

Yet, spending unlimited money is the way to credit worthiness?

It’s apparently just fine when there’s a Republican in the White House.

I encourage everyone to read the transcript. A few nuggets:

Re Burisma:
That was like -- that was a narrative that was -- that was told to me by various of the D.C. team, that the firing of Shokin was bad for Burisma because he was under control.

So the firing of Shokin was bad for Burisma because now a proper prosecutor could do a legitimate investigation.

“The report also found, quote, "No evidence that any action of the U.S. Government or any U.S. official was taken to benefit Burisma or Hunter Biden."
Q: Do you have any evidence or knowledge that contradicts this conclusion?
A No.

Archer has no evidence that the US or US officials took any actions that benefited Hunter or Joe Biden

re Shokin

State Department officials interviewed in this investigation explained that Shokin did not pursue corruption investigations against Burisma's owner, effectively shielding the owner from prosecution, and that removing Shokin made an investigation into Burisma more, not less, likely.“

Shokin did not investigate Burisma, which is why the international community wanted him fired.

Q And so I think the point you're referring to is that in this document the confidential human source says he cannot opine to the veracity of the allegations and notes that it's not unusual for Ukrainian business executives to brag or show off.
A Correct. ..”

The confidential human source, presumably in the FBI 1023 has no hard or soft evidence...just the word of a compromised individual.

So curious if the people awaiting the hammer to fall, just like the Durham hammer, are still waiting? What is the next lie for distraction you will fall for?

LOL, you aren't getting it...the people you are showing via these tweets as credible are the ones who are corrupt. Why do you fall for this time after time? Or do you enjoy spreading lies and disinformation?

Now that this whistleblower’s testimony blows up on GOP’s face the magabots are directed to another “whistleblower”. Can this ever get old?

Devon Archer torpedoes Biden camp's defense of controversial dinner with Burisma exec
Hunter Biden's ex-business partner confirmed during his recent closed-door interview with the House Oversight Committee that then-Vice President Biden was at the infamous spring 2015 dinner with son Hunter's foreign business associates, despite the Biden campaign repeatedly saying Biden was never there.

Devon Archer told investigators that the elder Biden "had dinner" with him and several others, including "Vadym P. from Burisma." When Biden arrived, Archer said Biden "shook everybody's hand" and joined their conversation.

In 2020, the New York Post reported an explosive story about Hunter Biden introducing his then-vice president father to a top executive at Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where Hunter had served on its board and reportedly collected more than $50,000 per month.

The story set off a firestorm and rejections from Biden's close aides. Andrew Bates, who is now a White House spokesperson but at the time worked on the communication team of Biden's 2020 campaign, roundly denied the meeting ever happened.

Bates told Politico the campaign "reviewed Joe Biden's official schedules from the time, and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place."
