The type of skinny that is prevalent in the NW, McLean and Bethesda that is the result of an iron will and steely determination to adhere to a strict diet, workout and cosmetic surgery rotation.
I thought men liked women who had some curves and not all skin and bones and muscles. Obviously I do NOT mean "fat" women. |
Very rich men marry women who are skinny because other rich men’s wives are skinny and the wives control social opportunities to network. If your wife isn’t accepted because is not skinny enough or she is too young or the “wrong kind of brown”, you are screwed. |
It depends on preference, I like in shape but not skinny, some guys like skinny some like curvy |
I do. |
Rich men marry skinny women. They have affairs with curvy women. Sexy = trashy & low class
(I don't feel this way, but unfortunately many do.) |
Wow I’m learning so much here
|
Thin is in. |
Too thin is scary. If your collarbones stick out, too skinny. If you wear a training bra or don’t need a bra, too skinny. |
I think rich men have wives who have the time and money to keep fit and groom themselves.
I met DH when I was 24. I was naturally thin. I am now 41, have 3 kids and the same weight as before having children. It took time and effort to be back to a size 4 and weigh 120 pounds. The vast majority of the wives are thin. The one chubby wife I can think of is the wealthier one of the couple so they are rich from both sides. |
Thin and In Attractive |
I question the assumption they are doing it because their husbands insist, or want it. I suspect they only muster that kind of determination for their own internal reasons, whatever they may be. Doubtless all the other women in their social circle looking that way is part of it. |
Not me, I like some curves and a woman who is fit. Skin and bones is really unattractive and gets worse with age. |
BS. |
Curves sag with age. |
Woman here. Why is that BS? I’m fit and thin, not skinny. We live in a wealthy neighborhood and DH does very well. |
