Maple wood, NJ murders

Why would you leave your au pair at home with your DH? Even if they weren’t sleeping together now everyone is going to think they were.

Yeah, OP - *that's* the important part of this story. The appearance of it all.

Cretin.

1 -- if you have an au pair or live in the Mom can never go out and leave the Dad and au pair together? Seriously? How little do you trust your DH?

2 -- the police and eyewitnesses are pointing to it being the woman's boyfriend who did it -- au pair and boyfriend argue, it gets violent, Dad tries to intervene, they both end up dead.

When our children were young we had plenty of live in nannies some young and very attractive but I never worried about my husband getting it on with any of them. He saw plenty of action with me so he had no need to stray.

What are we talking about here? I guess I could google but it seems rude to post like it's in the middle of a conversation and not provide any context.

I just googled the article but there's really not much more detail than has been provided on this thread.

Basically a neighbor was passing by and saw the girl being attacked by her boyfriend on the front lawn. There was also a trail of blood leading into the house which led police to the dead DH.

Here’s an article on it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2019/08/03/nj-man-and-familys-nanny-found-stabbed-to-death/amp/

My cousin lives in that neighborhood. I’ve driven by that house. I’m just horrified by this story. I feel awful for the family, and the family is the nanny/au pair.

^ “family of” the nanny, not “family is”

Not that pp but I suppose it's because there's really not much else to discuss about this story.

Plus, it IS a nice looking house.

This story has a bit more information. I read in another piece that the wife and children were at the beach over the weekend, which is why they weren’t home.

I wonder if the couple was aware of the domestic violence relationship between the au pair and the boyfriend.
