Nemecheck protocol? Anyone do this?

Anonymous
Saw it in facebook. Anyone use it and get nice results?

Been doing it for the past 8 months. Any results have been very subtle. I’m not really sure that it is having any impact, but it’s easy to do so I’ll probably stick with it for a while longer. HTH.

What is your child's diagnosis? And is it a difficult protocol to follow?

I’m starting it with my speech delayed 22 month old (says like 2 words). Right now, we are just on the fish oil, but I’ve ordered the inulin. I’m having trouble finding a COOC approved olive oil though. May have to check out Whole Foods or Trader Joe.

My son seems to be using a few more signs after starting the fish oil, but no new speech. I’m hoping to see some change after we start the full protocol. There are so many positive stories in my speech delayed Facebook groups.

It is a scam. There are no studies to support this.

NP. That's not what scam means. Maybe it doesn't do anything but they aren't selling a product.

They're selling a book.

I read the book, but I think it’s unnecessary. All the info you need is in the Facebook group.

Whole Foods 365 brand has one. It’s labelled California small batch evoo and it has the cooc seal on it.

I used it for myself and found it helpful for SIBO.

His protocol is based on science so not sure why someone called it a scam.

It can be done for cheap so it is not 100% necessary to pay lots of money for anything.

Child’s diagnosis is ASD. My main concern is lack of speech/language. The protocol is easy to follow:
No probiotics. Instead, take 1 teaspoon prebiotic (inulin) + 1 teaspoon fish oil daily. We get a highly concentrated kind here: https://klaire.com/emltg-eicosamax-tg-liquid. We also cook with olive and avocado oil. But as I said, results (from this + speech therapy + OT/Floortime + gluten free, whole foods diet) have not been all that. Child still has level two autism and little spontaneous speech. We’re trying to get back into ABA therapy but it’s hard to find a good provider who can see my child after school. Obviously, we are attempting to try everything, but no big improvements yet. My child was diagnosed at age 2.5; child is 5 now. HTH.

I tried it for several months. You can get the California Ranch olive oil from Target. I did not see any improvement, the inulin made my son hyper. it may work for other kids. It's easy to implement and worth trying.

The book is about reducing inflammation in the brain and rebalancing gut bacteria. There are plenty of studies to support this. Look up Dr Amen who is an expert on the brain.
