Self defense class

Hi

Are there any self defense classes for kids getting out more in public without their parents? How to verbally handle situations and a few defensive moves. TIA

There was a recent post (in the past month maybe) on self-defense for kids on, I think, the DCUM elementary age forum. Look there. You'll see a lot along lines of "just put them in martial arts classes" but that's not the same thing as finding a self-defense workshop.

Look into Kidpower. It's not physical self defense, per se, but teaches a lot about safety in new situations, etc. I have only had a bit of exposure to it thus far, but have been impressed.
