| I found out my progesterone levels were 1.8 and I am 5 weeks 5 days. I started bleeding yesterday and today. Any chance m6 baby will make it if given progesterone pills? Looking for any miraculous stories of women in similar situations. Thank you. |
| I would ask for suppositories or PIO injections, if at all possible. These are typically what women take if they have issues sustaining a pregnancy. Many stay on them through first trimester. Good luck. |
| I’m rooting for you, OP. Sending love. |
| Push for progesterone ASAP! |
Do you think if I go in to the emergency room I will get the progesterone? |

So, this may not be exactly what you want to hear but I had a similar experience. My progesterone was around the same as yours at my first best test. The doctor basically told me I would 100% miscarry and there was no hope if it starts under 5. I begged for suppositories and they wouldn’t give them to me because there was just no chance. I was really disappointed - had been trying for a year at that point.
I went back in a week later and somehow my progesterone rose to 11 on its own and they could now see the sac. The doctor was shocked and said just maybe there was some hope, but he had never seen someone who started with a progesterone so low go on to have a viable baby. This was an RE by the way. Went back at 8 weeks and everything was progressing, there was a heartbeat, however the sac was a bit misshapen. The RE didn’t discharge me as usual and I had to go back every week to a scan. Things kept progressing until week 11 and then I went in and there was no more heartbeat. So I guess I am telling you this to fight for the progesterone- sometimes I wonder if I had pushed harder if it would have made the difference. If your OB has an emergency line all they need to do is call in a prescription to any pharmacy. However - I did get pregnant again a couple months later and my progesterone was fine. So it definitely could have been an indicator that something was wrong. |

Hi,
does anyone know of a drop in place when one can have progesterone injection administered for IFV treatments? My neighbor has been super helpful in the past getting this done for me but i hate bothering her so much. Thank you. |
