| We are zoned for Kettering middle...we are on the waiting list for two charter schools, but it looks like Kettering may be our reality in the fall. Looking for any information regarding your experience. Thank you! |

I went there for middle school some 20 years ago and it was a shit show. I have no idea how it is now.
They separated the tag students from the non-tag students and there was a clear divide. I am not sure how that divide translated into quality of education but the non-tag "teams" seemed more rough. There weren't drugs when I was in MS but the climate was different, there were plenty of fights though. FWIW I survived and ended up at Eleanor Roosevelt along with several of my peers. Middle school sucks for every student so the best you can do is provide emotional and educational support and home. |
