Go ahead and post them. This https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/1150160001 and Charlottesville seem like good examples. |
This is an absolutely insulting and disgusting thread and should be deleted. |
I disagree and find it abhorrent that trump would laugh about killing migrants. |

Good one. Now how do you feel about trump laughing about shooting migrants? |
Trump is exterminating brown people on the border, keeping them caged and expelling otherwise legal residents whose last names are suspect.
Trump is using overt propaganda to rile up his base against 'the other." Trump refers to the media as enemies and fake. Trump sends dog whistles against Jews, African Americans, Latinos, Gays, you name it; he incites White Nationalists to do harm against their fellow Americans. Trump is building up the military-industial complex even more than it already was. Trump is undermining health, education and general welfare of the average American, thus putting us in a position of subservience to the state. Trump is referring to the military as "his" Trump is referring to the judges as "his" Trump is already teasing extending his term, joking or not, it is a trial balloon. The Senate is no better than the 1923 government that abdicated its responsibility. There are a lot of parallels. |
So, those of you making this comparison.... are you ignorant? Or, dimwitted? Or, are you a Holocaust denier?

Hitler analogies are the lowest form of political analysis. |
The real worry is blocking the reveal of documents and using executive power to muzzle Mueller. Real problem is militant nationalism that he is supporting. |
OP here. I find it telling that people are more offended with comparing trump to hitler than they are with his actual jokes and laughs about killing migrants. Let that sink in. Then consider hitler’s parallels to hitler’s ascendency to power. |
No. Real problem is the political culture that brought us to this point. The culture in question is bipartisan and utterly shameless. |
The comparison is a mindless exercise in confirmation bias. |
Both were failures in their respective career paths prior to being politicians (which ultimately ended up in failure.) |
Truth hurts? |
Both were buffoons surrounded by a coterie of other buffoons. |
