how to meet other moms-to-be

I am expecting my first child in late August and none of my good friends here are pregnant. I'd love to meet other expectant mothers. Are there any groups or outlets for us moms-to-be to meet each other? Or anyone want to start a group?

To the mom due 4/1 who lives near the National Cathedral, I am due the end of March and live in AU Park. Send me a note when you are up for it to get out for walks. Earlier in my pregnancy, my walking route would take me down WI to the Cathedral and then back up Mass.

Glad to see there are several of us who are interested in meeting up, and looks like we live generally in the same area. How about meeting for coffee one weekend afternoon? or something else? I was thinking we could meet at the Starbucks near Cactus Cantina, but if you have other ideas, throw them out. I'll throw out some dates:
March 15
March 16
March 22 (though that is Easter weekend)
April 5
April 6

We could also do a weeknight if that is better.

I am due late August and live in Adams Morgan and mid-30's.

I am due in late June and live in the Chevy Chase DC area (33 yrs. old--wow, hard to believe I am 33--haven't written my age down in ages!). I would love to join the group when you get together. I will keep my eye on the messages to see what date/place works out.
