| Do any of the area clinics today have the thimerosol free for kids under 2. I think this is the prefilled syringe thing. Thanks! |

| Mine got preservative free Sanofi at the Fairfax clinic, not sure if that is the same as thimerosol free. |

pp how old are your kids. Was the syringe prefilled?

| My son is 2.5 years old - he qualifies for the shot and not the nasal because of his asthma. I didn't notice if it was prefilled or not. The sticker they put on his vaccination card said "preservative free Sanofi 6-36 months" |

Thanks pp. It is nice to know that some people on this forum are actually helpful. Ours too has an L and I did ask for the preserve free my husband just did not get a chance to look at the syringe that's all, though they had them sitting on the table. My husbands shot did not have the L in front of it though it was the same lot number. I think that the L denotes the single syringe.
